The getstats campaign is looking to change the culture around statistics and we cannot do this single-handedly. It’s only by working with others,  be they partner organisations or individuals – RSS members and wider associates – that we can achieve the most impact.

So please think how you can work with the campaign and let’s join together on our existing getstats projects or invite us to work with you in developing your plans and new activity.

If you are thinking of volunteering… the extent of existing volunteers’ involvement and support runs from raising awareness of the existence of the campaign by using the getstats electronic sign off, linking to our webpages and simply telling people about what we are trying to achieve, through to…writing posts, book and media reviews, giving talks, blogging, stats busking including running campaign stands at public fairs and festivals or helping us to deliver training programmes. Being the campaign’s eyes and ears, telling us about what else is happening and what we need to know. It all helps.

For just a few initial ideas around how you can support the getstats campaign, see ‘Let’s get communicating‘ and getstats on Twitter. But don’t feel limited by the activities listed, if you have other ideas, just get in touch.
